Following the launch of Android Vertu Ti, the company launches its second device, which will have a leather back accompanied by a more smartphone-like design. Unlike its predecessor, Vertu Constellation has the largest piece of sapphire glass ever crafted as well as durable calf leather around the rear shell, instead of the iconic ceramic pillow on the earpiece. What is peculiar about this handset is that it comes in 5 color options: cherry, light and dark brown, black, and orange (all of them you may see on the image above).
Android Vertu Ti and Vertu Constellation will co-exist with each other, though the latter will get a lower price than its predecessor – $6,630 instead of the Vertu Ti $10.ooo price tag.
Speaking about Vertu Constellation specs, the handset is much more powerful that the Ti. It has:
- OS: Android 4.2
- Display: 4.3-inch 720p
- Processor: 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC
- Battery: 1800 mAh
- Cameras: 13 MP rear + 1.3 MP front
- Connectivity: Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, no LTE
- Built-in storage: 32 GB, 64 GB
Vertu Ti vs Vertu Constellation Specs
As I’ve already mentioned above, in terms of specs the second Vertu Android smartphone will be more powerful than the Vertu Ti. It has a larger display as well as better processor (1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC instead of the Ti’s MSM8260A), better 1800 mAh battery (still not the most powerful one modern smartphones boast). NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support were left untouched.
As part of Vertu Certainity offering, Vertu Constellation customers will get a number of benefits. Alongside with the option to subscribe to unlimited global Wi-Fi access from iPass, you will get advanced version of Kaspersky anti-virus app. What is more, Vertu now offers personal tracking and alert button on the phone, which will come in handy when you’re in the high risk area. In addition, Vertu Constellation supports VoIP call service, what means the device will soon support instant messaging as well.
Where to Buy Vertu Constellation
