Nexus 7 New Version Available in Canada

the_content - 0

After White Asus Nexus 4 became available in Canada, its comrade Nexus 7 launches in the country as well. After its September 30th release in the US, the tablet finally comes directly to the Play Store in Canada. Several Canadian retailers will start selling the device in the near future, though there is no word about the availability yet…

If to compare the tablet with its predecessor, Asus Nexus 7 specs are more impressive than in the last year’s model and include:

  • a bigger 7-inch screen;
  • LTE support, 2GB of RAM;
  • a powerful 3950 mAh battery;
  • a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor;
  • Android (4.3, 4.2.2, 4.2.1, 4.2, 4.1.2, 4.1.1, 4.1);
  • the device come in 16Gb (C$229) and 32GB versions (C$269).

Nexus 7 Tablet Ship Date

According to the image shown above, the Nexus 7 new version ships in 1-2 business days. So, don’t waste your time and order the tablet right away in case you want to have it delivered by the end of the week. The LTE model is not available in Canada at the moment, just like in the US.

Nexus 7 Tablet Camera

I think it’s worth paying special attention to the Nexus 7 tablet camera features. The device comes with a 1.2 MP VGA camera (not that powerful, huh?) and the front facing camera will be pretty good for participating in video chats. Unfortunately, Nexus 7 new version doesn’t boast its own camera apps, but you are still free to take pictures using third party apps.
