Nexus 5 on Google Play Sold Out Once It Became Available, Some Say It Has Already Arrived

We’ve got some great news for you, my friends! The wait is over – the much anticipated Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 KitKat has finally arrived!

Minutes after the device officially launched, the 16GB black version of the Nexus 5 on Google Play was sold out, while the white 16GB model has now slipped to November 8. As per the time when the 16GB black version of the Nexus 5 will be available on Google Play, the company says the item is “out of inventory” and to check back later.

The 32GB Nexus 5 models are still listed as shipping by November 8th. Regarding the international launch, the shipping dates are slipping in other countries as well. For instance, in Canada the devices are currently listed as shipping by November 8.

We’ve heard lots of rumors about the possible price and specs the device would boast. Yesterday, after the handset became officially available on Google Play, the company presented the spec list alongside with the Nexus 5 prices. In such a way, now the Nexus 5 retails for $349/$399 in the US, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, and Korea.
