Even though the Finnish company is to be acquired by Microsoft in the nearest future, a number of high-end devices are to see the light of day soon. The company has already announced the Lumia 1520 as well as Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet, both of which are about to be released. Unlike its bigger siblings that were announced a few weeks ago in Abu Dhabi, the Lumia 929 was not mentioned. According to our sources, the Lumia 929 launch is scheduled for Thanksgiving – early period.

Lumia 929 Specs
I guess the first thing we should mention while starting talking about this handset is that the Lumia 929 is a custom phone built for Verizon. The device is to boast features rather similar to the Lumia 1520, though coming is a smaller package.

Lumia 929 Design
In general, the Lumia 929 body is similar to the Lumia 928. The only difference is the metal band around the edge of the phone, which makes the latter much sturdier. Another change from the Lumia 928 is the location of the headphone jack on the center-top and microUSB charger at the bottom. The microSIM card will be positioned near the top; the buttons are said to be ceramic.

Judging by the Lumia 929 pictures and spec list, we may assume that the new Lumia phone will be compatible with such best sellers as the HTC One and the Galaxy S4. Most likely, it will be appealing to those users who are fed up with large smartphones and are looking for a smaller gadget, but with high-end specs.
