On the 10th of May, Dan Mead, CEO of Verizon Wireless, announced that the company was set to support top smartphone platforms other that Android and iOS. He said that other smartphone operating systems had a place on the market and could rival the Apple/Android duopoly. Dan Mead stressed that competition was very important for Verizon Wireless.
