What Is LTE Coverage
AT&T 4G is a wireless technology, which follows 3G as the latest addition to AT&T’s mobile broadband network and provides faster mobile speeds than ever before.
“4G LTE will deliver even faster speeds than 4G HSPA+. The combination of the two technologies provides the best option for your wireless work or entertainment.”
When choosing AT&T 4G LTE network, you’ll get faster Web browsing as well as quicker downloads. AT&T 4G LTE delivers mobile speeds 10 times faster than standard 3G networks, which makes the carrier the fastest 4G LTE provider ever.
AT&T expands its IP broadband networks as part of its Project Velocity IP three-year investment plan. The carrier is to install about 10.000 additional ‘macro’ cell towers all over the US by 2015. What is more, AT&T plans to bring about 40.000 small cells into the service, adding about 1.000 Distributed Antenna Systems with the aim of increasing the density of its wireless network.
