Smartphones are the greatest devices the geeks of the world granted to us. They allow you to communicate with others as well as work as audio and visual players, internet browsers, gaming stations and much more. Considering their versatility, it comes as no surprise that they are used rather extensively that, in turn, causes their batteries to drain out faster. Most smartphones when used within limits can function without being recharged for a day. However, there are some, which are much better than the average while others are much worse. Recent labs tests reveal some smartphones, which have the longest battery life.
Motorola seems to be the undisputed leader as for the battery life. The Droid Razr Maxx HD is the second best in battery life, providing 14 hours 53 minutes of life in the video battery drain test. The only other smartphone that provides long battery life is the Droid Razr Maxx with awesome 15 hours and 16 minutes of life. Motorola Droid Razr bears testimony to the fact that the Maxx added to your name is not really required for a long battery life as it provides 9 hours and 37 minutes of battery time.
Samsung Galaxy III is definitely making waves with its plethora of features; an outstanding battery life is just one more addition to its list of attributes. The phone works for 9 hours and 24 minutes in a battery draining lab. HTC Evo 4G LTE is another strong contender as it provides 10 hours and 13 minutes of service before call quits. Motorola Droid 4 and Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE are also pretty competent in the battery arena providing 9 hours and 5 minutes and 8 hours and 6 minutes of battery life respectively.
