The Droid Razr HD is the flagship for Motorola. The phone is thin, and its screen has a standard 1280×720 resolution. It includes a 1.5Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM. The Droid’s battery life (3300-mAh) and storage are somewhere between those of the Maxx HD and the M. It weighs 146g, which is quite a lot, and has sharp edges. Its size is 131.9×67.9×8.4 mm. If you have small hands, such device may be too big for you.
The back panel of the phone is made of the Kevlar and is really pleasant to touch. In addition, it reduces the possibility of dropping the device as it is grippy enough.
The length of the display is 4.7 inches. There are three capacitive standard Android buttons – home, recent applications and back. Right under them, designers placed a Verizon logo. As for the Motorola name, it is situated at the top of the phone above such notifications as missed calls, messages, e-mails and others.
If you look on the right side of the Droid, you will see physical buttons. The volume rocker is situated in the middle, and the lock button is above it. They are really easy to reach with your thumb. Ports for micro-USB and HDMI can be seen on the left side of the phone. There is also a micro SIM and micro-SD tray. As for the speaker, you will find it on the back of Droid near the camera. Unfortunately, such location reduces sound quality if you decide to put the phone on its back.
The developers claim that the phone will resist splashes, but at the same time, it will not survive being put into the water. It can manage the rain, but it is better not to test it extensively. The warranty will not work in case of liquid damages, so be careful.
